How the Cultural Forum began, what our goals are, and who runs this platform.
Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology has always encouraged creativity, humanity and cultural practice among its students. Our founding chairman, Mr. Md. Imamul Kabir Shanto, envisioned that students should not remain confined within textbooks alone, but should develop their skills and thinking across the many branches of art and culture. It was from his vision and guidance that the Cultural Forum was formed.
The Forum's activities keep students away from destructive habits, help them cope with stress and frustration, give them a chance to express their own talent and creativity, and build teamwork, leadership, confidence and communication skills.
To build a cultural and personal-growth platform for developing students' creative, humane and ethical qualities — where they can express themselves through various cultural activities and receive proper guidance.
To create a creative, healthy, joyful and cultural environment where students, alongside their studies, engage in cultural activities and grow into well-rounded individuals.
Three layers of guidance, one student-led team. Administration gives authority, teachers give mentorship — and students lead and execute.
The students who run the Forum day to day — events, rehearsals, members and everything in between. One-year term, formed from active members.
